Supply Your Produce

Are you a local farmer with leftover produce? Consider donating it to our VEGOUT Program and help feed our food insecure community members.

How does it work?

We work directly with local farms to pick up their quality excess produce throughout the growing season, and deliver it to our local hunger relief partners.

We determine a weekly pick-up schedule that correlates with your cooler clean-out and workflow.

The produce from our partner farms helps to feed 1,000+ people weekly, across the north shore!

Who is Nourishing the North Shore?

We are a non-profit organization addressing food insecurity on the North Shore.

Our mission is to support local farms, provide local produce to the food insecure and connect people to their local food systems.

We build mutually beneficial relationships between local food producers & emergency food providers.

We believe healthy land = healthy people.
"We have worked with Nourishing the North Shore for the past 3 years to provide food donations for food insecure communities while also reducing food waste on our farm. NNS has been an excellent partner in every way possible; professional, timely, well-trained volunteers, and organized!"

– Stacey and Alex, Iron Ox Farm
