Are you a pizza lover? I mean, who isn’t! Join this hands-on cooking class to work with fresh ingredients including locally-sourced vegetables, herbs, cheese, and fruits. Creative and unique pizza styles will include: gluten-free, dairy-free, individual/personalized, and a dessert pizza. And if you haven’t had dessert pizza, then what are you waiting for?

Nutrition Topic: Organic vs Conventional. What’s the difference, what’s with all those other labels (natural, free range etc.) and how to get the best bang for your buck.

About the Teacher: Allison Lehane I live in the lovely town of Newbury with my amazing husband Brian, my beautiful stepdaughter Olivia and our sweet and spirited dog Seamus.  As the author and creator of The Locavore, it is my pleasure and privilege to share seasonally inspired original recipes and menus featuring locally grown ingredients. I dedicate my free time to community organizations close to my heart such as Nourishing the North Shore, The Jeanne Geiger Crisis Center, The Firehouse Center for the Arts, The Newbury Garden Club and more. I look forward to sharing the local love.
