Discover the many uses of kale and the best techniques to prepare it, ensuring optimal flavor and texture! The menu for this class includes Guac-Kale-Mole with Homemade Pita Chips and Spicy Kale Chips to start. Participants will also make a Mexican Kale Salad and Kale Pesto Pasta dish! “Kale Critics” are encouraged to join!

Mindful Eating with Lisa Dorval

During this class, Lisa Dorval will guide you through a sensory experience by bringing mindfulness to "everyday" activities such as cooking and eating. You will leave class with a handful of techniques that will help you bring more presence into your life.

Lisa Dorval is a Qualified Mindfulness Based Stress Reduction Instructor designation through the Center for Mindfulness in Meditation at the University of Massachusetts Medical School.  She is a masters graduate from Boston University School of Social Work Lisa is co-owner of Do-East, Center for Integrative Health and Mindfulness Strategies.
